"Reaching" is a series of paintings and poems that embrace mental illness not as something to be hidden but to be expressed and heard. I am drawn to jellyfish as a metaphor for mental illness for they are always floating up and down through the light and darkness. Entangled in this amazing world as if dancing and drowning but never giving up.
